Human barriers to success |
 |
Existing organisations can present
a range of barriers to the effective implementation of employee
involvement initiatives.
Consideration must be given to :
- the extent to which the culture
of the organisation will allow employee involvement
- the
commitment of line management and supervisors
- the
current style(s) of management approach in dealing with
employees
- the level of trust that exists between
employees and their managers
- the appropriateness
of the policies and mechanisms of employee involvement
for the operational arrangements
of the organisation
the deployment of the workforce.
