Racial harassment includes verbal racial abuse; racially explicit derogatory statements which are found to be objectionable and offensive, and make the recipient feel threatened or humiliated; offensive jokes of a racial nature; racist graffiti; an offensive manner in communication which is not used with other employees.

Both intentional sexual and racial harassment are criminal offences punishable by fine or imprisonment.
